Dalia Psychotherapy is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans, Aetna PPO, United Health Care, and OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions (formerly United Behavioral Health). If your insurance plan offers reimbursements for out-of-network providers, we can provide you with receipts of services. If you aren’t sure about your insurance coverage, we can provide you with a verification of insurance benefits prior to scheduling an appointment.

Yes, Dalia Psychotherapy offers sliding scale rates for clients paying out of pocket who may be experiencing financial barriers. Sliding scale fees are determined collaboratively between us, taking into account your individual circumstances. Please feel free to contact me to explore your options.

During a phone consultation with me, you can expect a brief 10–15 minute call to ask questions about my therapeutic approach and process, discuss scheduling, and explore whether we’re a good fit. There’s no obligation to start services or make a decision during the call, as I understand you may be considering your options!

The main difference is that sessions take place virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. I’ll always be in a private, confidential setting to protect your privacy, and you can join from the comfort of your own home or another quiet, safe environment where you feel able to speak openly. Many clients find remote therapy more accessible and convenient, though it may not be the best fit for every situation—such as with young children or during acute emergencies.
